Curious and impressed by the stories his friend told – about the invigorating effects and the intense, citrusy aroma of this plant – Rey asked for a look at the original. The cutting was a remnant of a long-forgotten era, a plant that had been passed down and cultivated in small circles for decades. The friend hesitated for a moment, then looked Rey in the eyes and handed him the cutting with a nod, knowing it was in good hands. Rey spent months studying the plant. He analyzed its growth pattern, resin production, and the subtle nuances of its scent. He was fascinated by the purity and history this genetic treasure carried.
